Twelve Angry Men by Reginald Rose
My rating: 4 of 5 stars A brilliant and creative play illustrating the value of the American justice system and the importance of fighting for what you believe in--no matter the odds. Even though alone in his beliefs, Juror #8 offers an example of what can happen when one man has the courage to ask a question. View all my reviews

Inferno by Dante Alighieri
My rating: 4 of 5 stars There's certainly a lot to like about Dante in this spiritual classic. Dante has a penetrating insight into sin and its consequences. There is plenty here on local Florentine politics, but this hardly detracts from the beauty of the poet and his masterful translator. View all my reviews |
